I’ve simply put in Arch linux to go alongside Ubuntu, and I am having some bother sharing a partition between the 2. I’ve created it in each distros’ fstabs, trying like this:
UUID=<uuid> /information ext4 defaults 0 1
<uuid> being the partition’s precise UUID. It mounts superb in each distros and I can entry it, however in Ubuntu it has the precise recordsdata in that it’s meant to have – they have been copied there from the Ubuntu distro within the first place – whereas in Arch it simply has a misplaced+discovered folder.
Might anybody please give me a pointer as to the place I is likely to be going unsuitable with this? Do I have to set UID/GIDs?
Thanks prematurely, and likewise afterwards
