That is my first query right here, so if anybody has recommendations on the right way to enhance it that might be nice.
I have been learning this youtube on Powells technique and it appears like when we have now a single variable we begin on the higher and decrease bounds of the variable after which we maintain dividing the search house till we discover the minimal.
So for a single variable it appears fairly simple. How will we do it for two variables?
Does anybody have a easy instance of the right way to iterate by means of the algorithm?
For instance suppose we have now F(X1, X2) and X1 can vary between zero and 6 and X2 between zero and 4.
After the primary iteration we decide that we have to focus X1 between zero and three and X2 Between 2 and 4.
I assume that we plugged in F(X1=1.5, X2=1), F(X1=1.5, X2=3), F(X1=4.5, X2=1), F(X1=4.5, X2=3)
And that we came upon that the superior level was the F(X1=1.5, X2=3), and so now we repeat.
It is that about proper?
