I’ve a web site with varied columns outlined, then the location has sub-sites every with a number of doc libraries. I’m making an attempt so as to add the columns from the highest stage web site to the sub-site libraries, however it’s coming again with an error:
PS C:tmp> set-pnpview -web $net -list "04-test" -Identification "All Paperwork" -Fields "Sort","Title","Modified","Modified By","Received_x0020_Date" set-pnpview : Column 'Received_x0020_Date' doesn't exist. It might have been deleted by one other person. At line:1 char:1 + set-pnpview -web $net -list "04-test" -Identification "All Paperwork" -Fiel ... + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + CategoryInfo : WriteError: (:) [Set-PnPView], ServerException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : EXCEPTION,SharePointPnP.PowerShell.Instructions.Fields.SetView
The column on this pattern is called “Acquired Date”, and i’ve already labored out that its inner identify is Received_x0020_Date because of the area within the center. If i add it by hand on the settings web page for the library, i can then add/take away it from the view by the identical command with out concern. I believe i am lacking the command to truly add it as a column to the library itself. Is there one other command wanted? or am i going about this the unsuitable manner?
