I’m making an attempt to grasp how visitors going out of a kubernetes cluster (working coredns) works.
Assume I’ve a container C working in kubernetes and I do a curl google.com.
As I perceive the container will first look into
/and so on/resolve.conf e.g.:
cat /and so on/resolv.conf nameserver 10.0.0.10 ...
to seek out the IP of the nameserver working within the cluster (on this case coredns). Then one thing else occurs and hopefully the container ultimately get a response.
Is it attainable to comply with this request from the container and out of the cluster – particularly to see if one thing get caught/dropped?
I’ve tried to do a
kubectl logs coredns-xxx -f whereas working the curl command however I do not see something – additionally I anticipate this may put to heavy a load on the pod if it was to print all visitors going out of the cluster.
However possibly there are some normal manner of doing any such debugging?
