Trying to construct a 4-node (servers A, B, C & D) AlwaysOn Home windows 2016 failover cluster with 2 nodes within the main datacenter for HA, and a pair of different duplicate nodes within the DR datacenter for catastrophe/reporting functions.
Since this can be a multisite cluster, is there a approach to configure to have two listeners (one for the Manufacturing/main occasion, the opposite for the DR occasion) beneath the one AlwaysOn Availability Group.
Additionally, would SQL on all 4 nodes have to run beneath the identical service account? Or can servers A, B be on one account whereas servers C, D run beneath one other account.
Is that this even possible/attainable? Thanks upfront to your assist!! Hope everyone seems to be protected & nicely throughout this time.
