I am attempting to get (a button or key of) a digital keyboard on the login display of lubuntu 20.04 with SDDM.
I’ve a asus E205SA 2 in 1 laptop computer and I am utilizing it as a laptop computer and pill. Once I’m logged in, through the bodily keyboard, I exploit the Onboard digital keyboard after I change to pill mode, with a shorcut key.
I searched the online and got here up with too little info for me to get it put in. I opened (as root) /and so on/sddm.conf and added a number of totally different strains.
I attempted the next:
InputMethod=qtvirtualkeyboard (saved it)
Enter technique module
InputMethod=qtvirtualkeyboard,–> virtualkeyboard,–> Onboard.
After every change within the final line I saved and rebooted, however sadly I did not achieve getting a button or someting like that to open the digital keyboard.
After that I put in the gnome-shell which labored, however I did not like that, so I eliminated that once more and switched again to SDDM.
What am I lacking/doing unsuitable?
Thanks very a lot in your assist.
