I am fighting a CORS request to our SharePoint 2010 server.
Evidently the CORS request to the SharePoint server requires authentication, which the pre-flight of the CORS-request doesn’t present. So the reply from SharePoint appears to be a 401 Unauthorized for the pre-flight, so the entire request fails.
Now I am looking, how I can disable authentication for a single SharePoint web page or whether it is even doable?
Does anyone know a technique to disable the authentication only for a single web page and never on the farm degree?
